Director of Athletics Cary McConnell has announced the appointment of James Petersen as the head coach for Suffolk University s men s and women s cross country teams Thursday afternoon.

Suffolk Athletics saw a wide range of successes by its 13 varsity teams in 2014-15 and fans can now view the Rams achievements in competition, the classroom and the community in the Year in Review.

The Suffolk University Athletics Department has announced preseason meetings for all 13 varsity intercollegiate sports teams for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

The Suffolk cross country programs announced their 2015 schedule Tuesday morning and the Rams will compete in seven meets in the upcoming season.

Suffolk student-athletes continue to earn recognition for academic excellence.

115 student-athletes achieve a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester, while 10 earn perfect 4.0 gpa.
